JAG ÄR EXTREM / I AM EXTREM SUMMER 2026
This summer, the Swedish artist duo LILITH (Elin Lundgren & Petter Pettersson), who also serve as Artistic Directors of Lilith Performance Studio in Malmö, present new iterations of their ongoing projects through performances, sculptures and video installations at OpenArt Örebro, Alma Löv Museum of Unexp. Art, and Konstfrämjandet Uppland.
Working with newly assembled groups of local participants at each venue, LILITH continues its exploration of ritual, belonging, and the physical and psychological variations that shape human experience.
I AM EXTREME
LILITH presents I AM EXTREME at OpenArt Örebro on 13 June, 18 July and 16 August.
The performance follows a procession carrying an oversized arm while performing ritual tributes to the physical and psychological variations and imperfections of our bodies. A newly composed opera by Philip Gleisner, based on a text by LILITH, is performed live by opera singer Angelica Asp.
I AM EXTREME is a hymn to the deviant and norm-breaking—to that which does not always have space in our society, to that which is considered extreme.
The performance will also be presented at Alma Löv on 27 June and at Konstfrämjandet Uppland, Hospital Park, Uppsala, on 29 August.
